Solid Cherry Dining Table with Mortise and Tenon joinery. I sourced the most figured cherry I could find, which ended up giving me a table top filled with interesting character and wild grain. The ripples on the top and base resemble a flame and the stretcher which connects the two base components are designed after a bridge. The top is varnished with a matte boat finish which makes the table very durable. 36” by 87” by 30”

LUCIUS DINING TABLE

This dining table is made with two book matched claro walnut slabs. After cutting off the live edges to make a rectangular shape, I joined the slabs together with mortise and tenon joinery. I attached solid bronze to the ends and middle of the table top, as well as the sides of the base. Bronze and walnut work in harmony together in this design to bring elegance, durability, and a bold aesthetic to any dining room.
